The photographic cycle was created as an attempt to build a visual language for telling stories about the fragility of human existence and the search for one’s place in the world. Although it consists of four separate series, they are treated as one coherent narrative – four chapters of a single project that complement one another.

The project reflects on the experience of solitude and the human condition shaped by sensitivity, introspection, and the tension between presence and absence.
It is a visual exploration of emotional states that often remain unspoken – moments of vulnerability, silence, and self-confrontation.

Through subdued imagery and symbolic gestures, the photographs invite the viewer to enter an intimate space where memory, identity, and the passage of time intertwine, revealing both the fragility and quiet strength of existence.

All works presented in this catalogue are ambrotypes on glass,
